Covid-19 Update – Following the latest government guidance our February 1/2 term camps will only be available to children of critical workers and vulnerable children

Only one parent needs to meet the requirements listed by the government. You can access the official list here. We will continue to monitor government announcements and will update our website with any changes. We will contact our February Half Term bookers about this directly.

We know we are an essential childcare service for many parents/carers including keyworkers who have worked tirelessly throughout this crisis to protect us all. The health and safety of our children and staff has always been, and will continue to be, at the heart of everything we do. Therefore, we have provided details below to keep you informed and will continue to update accordingly as and when required.

Also, keep an eye on our Social Media Channels for further updates.

Are you operating at February 1/2 term?

Are you allowed to open your camps under current guidance?

On 8th January 2021 it was confirmed by the Department for Education that holiday childcare providers (early years setting, childcare activities, including wraparound care) such as Camp 4 Champs would be still be allowed to operate for children of critical workers and vulnerable children. We are receiving daily updates from the DfE and will update our Covid literature accordingly.

The Camp 4 Champs team has been working tirelessly to ensure our camps are ready to support our parents/carers with their childcare needs and offer an abundance of engaging school holiday activities to keep kids entertained this summer!

  3. Restricted sharing of equipment (individual equipment where possible)
  4. Full clean of all equipment before/after each session
  5. Adjustment of activity timetable
  6. Personal protective equipment for all staff (optional)
  7. Regular hand washing, hand sanitiser stations throughout and enhanced cleaning measures
  8. Contactless sign in/out
  9. Staggered break and lunch times
  10. Clear instructions and social distancing signs onsite
  11. Covid-19 secure sites: no symptoms and daily temperature checks
  12. Open and clear communication with parents/carers, staff, volunteers and children
  13. Nominated toilets and handwashing basins for each bubble
