Camp Preparation
When heading to Camp 4 Champs multi-skills sports activity camp there is always a lot to remember so here’s a little help to get your child(ren) all set for their action-packed day!
Arrival & Drop Off
Our day camp hours are 9am to 4pm. You can drop your child(ren) off between 9am and 9.15am and collect at the end of the day between 3.45pm and 4pm.
Our extended camp hours are 8am to 9am and 4pm to 6pm. You can drop your child(ren) off from 8am and collect at any time up until 6pm.
Wear & Bring
- Children should wear loose comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions, and closed toe footwear.
- We suggest you don't send them in new and expensive clothing as they will be involved in many activities and kids being kids are likely to get mucky!
- Suggested amount for tuck shop is between £1.00 – £2.00 per child per day.
- Swimming kit and flip flops every day for all water activities (swimming only available as Warlingham & Mayflower - please see our swimming video's in our FAQ's page ) but in hot weather will have a slip and slide available at each of the sites)
- A swim hat (Warlingham School only) which can be purchased on the day at registration and armbands if required.
- Armbands (if required).
- An additional T-shirt would be advisable to protect against the sun in warmer weathers.
- Sun cream and a hat. Please provide the appropriate factor sun protection cream, preferably a spray for younger children.
Food & Drink
- A healthy and balanced packed lunch and snack for breaktime (STRICTLY NO NUTS PERMITTED on camp).
- A refillable water bottle with your child's name on it.
- Please provide ice packs for packed lunches during hot weather as we are unable to provide refrigeration facilities.
Medication
- If it is necessary for us to administer any medication throughout the day you will also need to complete the Request to Administer Medication form upon arrival at camp registration.
- All medication must be kept in a bag or container with your child’s full name clearly labelled.
Do not bring
- Mobile phones*, gadgets or any other valuable items such as jewellery on to camp. Staff are NOT able to look after a child's possession/s and take NO responsibility for any such items lost or stolen.
- Any equipment as Camp 4 Champs provides all necessary equipment for each activity session.
- Due to health and safety reasons, we are unfortunately unable to permit food treats to be brought onto camp to be shared with the children; for example, a child may have a nut allergy.
*Mobile phones: We understand that older children may need their phones when making their way to and from camp; however, they’re not allowed to be used once on camp, during break times or for photographs. We ask that phones are kept in personal baggage at all times and at the owner’s risk. Please make sure your child is aware of this.
