quick practical reminders
Useful details that help camp days run smoothly.
if your child is unwell
Please keep your child at home until they are well enough to enjoy and take part in a busy camp day. If your child has been vomiting or has had diarrhoea, they must stay off camp for at least 48 hours after their last episode. If your child cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, including absences due to illness. If your child becomes unwell during camp, parents must collect them as soon as possible.
absence guidancegroups, friends & siblings
Children are grouped by age and planned activities. Staff help children settle in. Friend or sibling requests can only be made at drop-off. Requests cannot be guaranteed. Many children attend without already knowing someone.
friend requestsphones, valuables & belongings
Please do not send children to camp with valuables, gadgets, jewellery or items they do not need for the day. Older children may bring a phone for travelling purposes, but phones must stay in their bag and must not be used during camp. Please label belongings clearly. Camp 4 Champs cannot accept responsibility for items that are lost, damaged or left behind, and our staff are not permitted to store, hold or look after children’s valuables. If something is left behind, please speak to the site team as soon as possible. Once camp has closed, we may no longer be able to access or return lost property.

additional needs & inclusion
Camp 4 Champs is a mainstream holiday camp, and we want children to have a safe, happy and positive experience with us.
We make reasonable adjustments wherever we can to help children take part, but we are not able to provide 1:1 care or increased staffing ratios as part of our standard camp provision. Children therefore need to be able to join in safely within our existing staff ratios and the structure of a busy camp day.
If your child has additional needs, an EHCP, requires close supervision, may leave the group or supervised area, or may need extra support, please contact us before booking. This helps us understand your child’s needs, consider any reasonable adjustments and check whether we can support them safely within our camp setting.
If a child’s needs have not been shared with us, or we are unable to support them safely on the day, we may ask parents to collect their child while we review whether the booking can continue.
Where we are unable to meet a child’s needs safely within our mainstream camp provision, we will discuss this with parents as early as possible.
Please contact our Inclusion Lead: inclusion@camp4champs.co.uk
